Burning Lake Productions spent April of 2017 in Italy location scouting and test shooting for a new project. We flew in and out of Rome, but most of our time was spent in the mountain village of Bagnoli, three hours outside the city limits. We had unrestricted access to the beautiful secluded town which boasts a population of around 7000 people at it’s peak month of July, but barely contained 700 locals this April. We were welcomed in like family by villagers who have spent their entire lives in Bagnoli and others who have only recently discovered the beauty that is the “Pearl of Molise.”
